Both cars can be used both analog and digital. Conversion is not necessary.

The trolleys have wheel sensors so that they stop as soon as the trolley comes to a standstill.

The built-in unit is analogue; it can be controlled digitally by connecting the faulhaber motor to a locomotive decoder.
